Ingredients
- Turkey breast minced patties (cooked) — 140 g
- Brown rice (cooked) — 160 g
- Celery (fresh stalks) — 100 g
- Cherry tomatoes — 150 g
- Olive or vegetable oil — 10 g (2 teaspoons for pan-frying the patties)
- Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, fresh herbs — to taste
- Lemon juice — 1 tsp (to drizzle over the celery)
Instructions
- 1Brown Rice. Boil the brown rice in salted water until tender (it takes a bit longer than white rice, about 30–40 minutes). Measure exactly 160 g of cooked warm rice and place it into the bowl.
- 2Minced Turkey Patties. Take raw turkey breast fillet and finely chop it with a knife into tiny cubes (or use extra-lean ground turkey breast). Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and finely chopped fresh herbs. Mix thoroughly and knead the meat against the bowl to make it cohesive. Shape into small, even patties. Heat a skillet with the olive oil (10 g), place the patties in, cover with a lid, and cook over medium heat for about 4–5 minutes per side until fully done. Measure out 140 g of the cooked patties.
- 3Fresh Veggies. Wash the celery stalks thoroughly and slice them into thin, crunchy crescent shapes. Drizzle with a tiny bit of lemon juice. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
- 4Assembly. Arrange the fluffy brown rice, juicy minced turkey patties, crisp sliced celery, and cherry tomato halves in separate sections of a deep bowl.
